All of the cakes produced by Paula Steele are freshly made to order. Our cakes not only meet our clients design expectations they taste delicious too. We use the freshest and finest ingredients. We use luxury brand conserves, homemade curds & spreads, continental butter, free range eggs, Belgian & Swiss chocolate, Madagascan bourbon vanilla and Dutch cocoa.
All of our cakes are infused with flavoured syrup to enhance the chosen cake flavour and ensure the cake remains moist. Each cake tier is made of several perfectly even layers and are torted with generous layers of filling. Our cakes are a minimum of 5 inches deep, which displays as an elegant luxury appearance and are then coated with a layer of white chocolate ganache followed by a layer of premium fondant icing and this is smoothed to a crisp, sharp edged finish.
Please note, we do not offer, naked or semi naked cakes. We do not make gluten, dairy free or nut free cakes.
Traditional
A traditional rich fruit cake, packed with a selection of dried fruits, fruit zests and peel, nuts and spices. Infused with a blend of finest cognac and cherry brandy, Our fruit cake is matured for at least two months. Covered in a layer of white marzipan.
Zesty
Zesty lemon sponge flavoured with Sicilian lemon and lemon zest infused with lemon syrup and filled with lemon buttercream and homemade lemon curd.
Indulgent
Decadent rich chocolate cake made with real Belgian dark chocolate and Dutch process cocoa. Filled with a rich chocolate buttercream or Belgian milk chocolate ganache.
Zesty
Golden caramel flavoured sponge cake infused with caramel syrup. Filled with caramel buttercream and a layer of hand made salted caramel spread.
Tropical
Tropical coconut sponge cake infused with coconut syrup. Filled with coconut or lime buttercream.
Aromatic
Vanilla Sponge Cake infused with vanilla syrup and layered with Vanilla buttercream and seedless raspberry or strawberry conserve.
Spiced
Subtly spiced carrot cake containing sweet pecan nuts and filled with a hint of orange buttercream.
Slightly Tangy
A visually stunning cake, deep red sponge with a hint of chocolate flavour. Filled with vanilla buttercream.
Almondy
Almond sponge cake, infused with almond syrup. Filled with almond buttercream and Morello cherry conserve.
Rich and indulgent, white chocolate sponge cake. Filled with vanilla buttercream and strawberry conserve or homemade passion fruit curd.
Luxurious
Vanilla sponge infused with Marc de Champagne Syrup, layered with Marc de Champagne Buttercream and Strawberry & Champagne conserve
